About
Théo Ceridwen is a writer, editor, photographer, artist, and student filmmaker based in Northern New Mexico with over 20 years of experience in photography and visual storytelling. Their work spans portraiture, documentary-style imagery, editorial, and creative production. Their photos have appeared in The New York Times, Yes! Magazine, BOMB Magazine, PBS, MIT Press, The Center for African American Poetry and Poetics, and many more.
They hold a B.A. in Creative Nonfiction and an M.F.A. in Poetry, a literary background that informs their approach to image-making, narrative structure, and photographic composition.
Théo is currently producing and directing Unarmed and Underpaid, an original short film scheduled to shoot in Spring 2027 in collaboration with Santa Fe Community College’s Advanced Production course.
Théo is available for hire, they collaborate with individuals, organizations, artists, and productions seeking thoughtful, cinematic photography with a documentary sensibility, along with writing and editing projects.
